Dynamic Specimen

時間,留下累積、
而成「形」。

人類在時間的洪流裡成為渺小的塵埃。
一個個生物遠古的過去,化為眼前的樣貌。
變化萬千,生命、宇宙延綿不絕的演化著。
過去、現在、未來。

地球上種種的累積是快速又緩慢的,端看凝視這個時空時將他立於何處,
是當下正在進行的,抑或過去所留下的。
也同時去思考演出當下的舞動標本(舞者),隨著時間,一點一點由過去堆疊而成,永久被保存在「那個」舞台上、觀者的記憶裡。
時間同樣地在變動、演化著。

Time, remaining accumulation,
and into a "shape."

In the torrential time, humans become a tiny speck of dust.
The ancient past of each creature has become what it looks like.
Ever-changing; life and universe are evolving endlessly.
Past, present, Future.

The accumulations on earth are speedy and slow, depend on which way you set when you gaze this space-time. Proceeding in the present, or remaining from the past.
At the same time, thinking about "dancing specimens" (dancers) at the moment of the performance. Through the time, little by little be stacked by the pass, permanently stored on "that" stage and viewer's memory.
Time is also changing and evolving.

YU-SHAN TSAI

2018年畢業於國立台灣藝術大學舞蹈系,
表演也創作。
以肢體、舞蹈為主要創作元素,但覺得創作不應被區隔,整個場域裡發生的皆要去關照。期許自己不要被文字定義住。
於創作,關注身心的關聯、食物與環境、人類原始相關的事物。
於肢體,不斷的尋找,試著帶領自己的肌肉、骨骼到沒去過的空間,體會不同的肢體樣貌、處在當下的感受。

Graduated from National Taiwan University of the Arts Dance Department, performing and also choreography.
Body and dance are my main creative elements, but I feel that creation should not be separated, anything happens in the field must be taken care of and expect not to be defined by words.
In creation, concerned about the relationship between body and psychological, food and the environment, and things related to human primitiveness.
In dance, keep searching and try to lead muscles and bones to the space that I haven't been to, and experience the different appearances and feelings of the body.
