弱身體的反抗

The Resistance of the Weak Body

是一場自我意識與自我布農族文化,於接收新文化中帶來的省思,用身體找尋與摸索,這能深能淺的答案。這樣的關係,有如像化學變化般,分子們不斷地撞擊與改變,或是實體與影縱橫交錯的關係。而人的出身就注定被文化包覆著,自始自終捨不棄也斷不了。弱身體的反抗,像似心電圖般,若說加上一條水平線是文化,那麼我的意識便是這因活著而跳動的線跳,不斷的在衝擊,尋覓能量之飢渴身軀,於薄弱的喘息中,仍具備著反抗的精神。弱身體顧能散發出強大生命力,只因此生流淌著引以為傲的反抗精神,覓食自我價值必然去碰撞。

Is a reflection from self-awareness, Bunun culture and new culture. This relationship is like a chemical change in which molecules constantly impact and change. The body still has the spirit of resistance in the weak gasping. Because of the collision of self-worth and self, it still emits strong vitality.

WEI YAO-CHIU

1997年生,畢業於台南應用科技大學七年制舞蹈系,台東布農族,目前積極投入於國內外各項藝文相關活動。
創作風格偏向於德國舞蹈劇場,並與環境議題與社會時事結合,歷屆創作主軸有海洋污染、空氣污染、森林砍伐等;近期創作以『文化』為主軸,並參與2018 Pulima藝術節、2019 《猴 DANCE 2》SHOWCASE、2019台江文化中心之台江孤島計畫, 作品分別為《Uncinian》、《覓食者》、《淤泥》,以及此次創作作品《弱身體的反抗》。文化的創作靈感,來自於自我意識與自我文化認同上的摸索,亦或是以自我布農族文化角度,切入其他文化的關聯性,並探討文化上的議題。

I was born in 1997, and graduated from the Department of Dance, Tainan University of Technology. I'm an indigenous, Bunun group. The indigenous of bunun in Taitung. Now I actively engaged in various arts and literature related activities at home and abroad. The creative style is biased towards the German dance theater, and combined with environmental issues and social events, like the marine pollution, the air pollution, deforestation and so on.
Creative inspiration comes from my culture, like the exploration of self-awareness and self-cultural identity, and the perspective of the Bunun culture.
