Forgot you and forgot myself: Re-
★ 首演 Premiere
Repeat is a symptom of dementia.
In addition to memory loss, repetitive speech and behavior can also occur after brain degeneration.
The choreographer uses her own experience and then presents the life dilemma faced by dementia patients through physical performance. Wanders and repeats between remembering and forgetting, and depicts the connection between the patient's first-person inner helplessness and childhood experience.
From forgot her daughter to forgot herself; from trotted feet to taked last breath, after heart stopped beating for the last three beats, I knew it was the end of life.
After accompanying my grandmother on the road of life, I realized that life is so fragile. This is the first time I feel that I am so close to death, and I use this profound experience to discuss the issue of dementia, so as to study the problems that most families in Taiwan society are facing today.
