無明之後
After Ignorance

在混亂與苦之中,一點覺知悄然浮現,如尚未破曉的光,不照亮遠方,只照見此刻。
在尚未安住之前,學習與不安共處,讓身心慢慢記得,如何存在。
This work explores the emergence of awareness within moments of chaos and suffering. Like the first light before dawn, this awareness does not reach far into the future, but softly illuminates the present.
Before arriving at a place of stillness, the body learns to stay with discomfort and uncertainty. Gradually, through movement and presence, the body and mind begin to remember what it means to exist.

Artist Statement|
I am a choreographer who has focused on women's issues in recent years, particularly the impact of patriarchy on women. Beginning in 2022, I started researching the ecology of Taiwan's sex workers, gaining a deeper understanding of their lives through street observations, discussions with women's groups, and interviews with retired sex workers. In 2023, I created a work titled Women of Wanhua, which revolves around the stories of Taiwan's sex workers.
My creative work centers on life and emotions, emphasizing the expansion of perception and discovering the kinetic energy and movement of the body through sensory experiences. I believe that creativity should never be divorced from humanity. Through empathy, I conduct research and self-exploration, addressing societal challenges in my work while seeking possible solutions. I hope my work can have a healing and inspiring effect on the public.
