Tseng Ching En is a dance artist based in Taoyuan, Taiwan. She is currently active in the dance industry by choreographing performing arts and teaching. Tseng graduated from Taipei National University of the Arts, Institute of Dance Choreography. In recent years, she has devoted herself to interdisciplinary creation, such as dance video, drama, music, and new media art. Her works were presented at several festivals and venues, such as the American Dance Festival, Taipei Fringe Festival, Kuandu Arts Festival, Hualien Performing Public Space Festival, National Taichung Theater, and Taipei Performing Arts Center. In 2020, Tseng was awarded a creative project grant from the National Culture and Arts Foundation, the S-An Foundation Creative Arts Sponsorship, and won a silver medal in the Taiwan Creative Dance Competition. Tseng was also chosen as the artist-in-residence of the Seed Dance Company in 2022. Tseng Ching En’s participation in the 2024 American Dance Festival’s International Choreographers Residency Program is supported by the Taiwan Academy of TECRO/Ministry of Culture in Taiwan. The co-artists and teams included Kate Weare, Jillian Peña, Leigh Warren, Francesco D'Astici, Jenn Lee, Sunny Yang, Ear East Ensemble, Taipei Capital Ballet, SunShier Dance Theatre, Seed Dance Company, and The Double Theatre.
