The Taiwan Barbet Duet are unique characters created by the artistic director of Lei Dance Theater, Lin-Lin Yang, in the work [Impressions of Our Hometown]. Limited by the epidemic in 2021, Lei Dance Theater abandoned the traditional indoor theater space to look for more possibilities and movement styles of duet dance creation in an outdoor environment.

My topic is “Love” which is pure. Making you feel dizzy and illusory bubbles and out of control, The pure comes of Dopamine, Oxytocin or Adrenaline. Also, arises from your acceptance of nature. Love is real like poison. Love is truer than your image. Love is brief like death. Love is purer than your image.

‘She was a big success (v.3)’ is a self-choreographed solo situated in the border between physical theater and contemporary dance. The work aims to challenge the male gaze and women’s objectification in Mexico.

We research the expressiveness of body of the urbanites with our own experience, to dialogue and to collide, in an attempt to deconstruct the physical limitation, and to further contemplate the existence of the contemporain body.
